HOW TO STYLE A ROUND COFFEE TABLE
1. GROUP AND GATHER
Set aside elements you'd like to feature. We had our sights set on rattan, a plaster bowl, coffee table books and a brass accent. We curated these items to reflect the style and the theme of texture seen throughout our clients' home.
2. START WITH HEIGHT AND LAYER DOWNWARD
We often witness clients thinking horizontally at the expense of incorporating the vertical visual plane. Florals or greenery is a beautiful tool for adding instant height.
(Style Tip: place the blooms of your choice in a lovely ceramic vase for added color.)
Then work your way downward to create a staircase of layers.
3. GROUND THE LAYOUT
Within our circle of styling, we grounded the accessories with a light rattan tray and a stack of green, gray and blue books. These details anchor the accents while also providing a cheerful, crisp contrast to the dark wood tone of our clients' coffee table.
4. CIRCLE THE TABLE
Circle the coffee table and notice how your styling looks from various vantage points. Does your styling relate well to its neighboring decor and from all angles?
